Our staff stories are back, and this time we caught up with the one and only Ahmed Naser: GCP Customer Engineer at Netpremacy. Everyone that meets Ahmed knows he’s an expert at what he does. Ahmed has achieved both the Professional Cloud Architect Certification and the Professional Data Engineer Certification in his career so far, but here’s a little more about him and his role at Netpremacy!

What is your role at Netpremacy?

I help our customers analyse their business & technical challenges and align solutions that help overcome them within the GCP space.

What are some of the ways you have grown in your role?

My technical capabilities grow day in and day out as a big part of my job is to keep up to date with the latest technical developments, and GCP covers a wide range of products from infrastructure, data & AI!  Besides, working with people across various roles and companies has taught me a lot about human nature and has improved my people skills.

What are the top 3 things you love about the company?

Where do you see yourself in 3 years?

A well-rounded customer engineer who also runs a program that helps students launch their careers in the GCP world.

What would be your alternative career path?

I would be a university tutor.
