We are looking for a Pre-Sales Engineer to join our team working to help customers and prospects better understand Google Cloud technologies, in particular Google Cloud Platform (GCP). As a Pre-Sales Engineer, you will play a key role in the sales process – first helping to qualify opportunities, ensuring technical requirements are gathered and understood correctly and showcasing some of the core platform services effectively. From there you will help to develop the solution that will best meet the customer’s needs.
You will work cross-functionally with sales and delivery to determine the appropriate level of engagement and will support the sales representative in creating the relevant documentation. Developing strong working relationships within both Google and customers/prospects at a technical level is key to ensuring opportunities are won and this will be an important part of the role.
Additionally, you will be given the opportunity to present or contribute to whitepapers and “Lunch and Learn” sessions, as well as working closely with the marketing team to provide technical support for events and webinars where required.
