Job Specification

What we need…

We are looking for a Head of Marketing to lead all our marketing activities to help drive awareness and build demand for our Google Cloud services in the European market.

This role will report directly into the Commercial Director and will be expected to support the senior leadership team on the growth and direction of the business. 

As a high growth business, we are looking for someone who understands the full marketing process including brand, digital, communications, demand generation, and product marketing. Who can lead a small team of marketers to deliver successful campaigns that meet business and marketing objectives. We are looking for someone with considerable experience in demand generation who can partner with our go-to-market leadership team on building programmes that deliver a quality pipeline for our sales teams.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Build the marketing strategy alongside our Commercial Director 
  • Manage marketing budget including maximising investments from Google Cloud partner marketing funds.
  • Set, monitor, and report on team goals
  • Own our brand positioning and strategy and ensure our messaging is strong and consistent across all channels and activities.
  • Understand our target audience and build campaigns based on personas
  • Work closely with the Google Cloud sales and marketing teams to align on segmentation, messaging, and preferred channels for campaigns.
  • Strategise, execute, deploy and optimise new customer acquisition programmes aligned to vertical solutions including events, outbound campaigns, social media, customer evidence and account based marketing programmes
  • Execute external marketing campaigns that deliver new, quality pipelines
  • Execute external marketing campaigns for our existing customer base

Requirements

Requirements:

  • 5-10 years relevant marketing experience and most recently as Head of Marketing
  • Experience with the IT industry, preferably with Cloud (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS)
  • Experience running successful B2B marketing campaigns
  • Solid knowledge and experience of digital marketing
  • Experience with CRM software and marketing automation tools
  • Team management experience with the ability to set and prioritise goals
  • Ability to work with multiple stakeholders across diverse teams
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment
  • Excellent communication skills both in marketing communications and with internal stakeholders
