Job Specification

The role

This is the perfect opportunity for someone who is looking to move into Project Management. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, driven and has a keen passion for technology to come and join our organisation as an Assistant Project Manager. You’ll be working alongside our delivery teams to develop and deploy solutions for our customers. Our head office is based in Leeds, however, this role can also be performed remotely from your home.

Having a good understanding of the technology and solutions will contribute to the success of the role, however, having a specific background in tech is not essential. We’re keen to work with someone who can get the best out of people and projects they’re working on with good time management and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Understand project scope and objectives to ensure activities remain on track. 
  • Perform administrative tasks to support the project and ensure smooth communication between all relevant parties. 
  • Manage project correspondence and scheduling of activities.
  • Preparation and support for project planning and documentation.
  • Internal and external communication regarding project status. 
  • Preparation and follow-up of meetings, actions and minutes.
  • Raise any key RAID items via the appropriate channels. 
  • Support the project manager on large-scale deployments.
  • Manage smaller-scale projects.

Requirements

  • Strong time management and organisational skills with the ability to alter day-to-day priorities.
  • Exceptional organisational skills including attention to detail.
  • Able to operate on your own initiative where required.
  • Confident within customer-facing environments.
  • Willingness to tackle challenges to solve problems.
  • Great attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to adapt to new technologies and approaches.

Hours: Full time.
