Application Development Experience

Netpremacy enhanced our customers G Suite experience by providing a full array of development services.

Travelodge - Oxford, UK

Travelodge - Oxford, UK

Travelodge run and manage their ‘Big Event’ each year. Their event is an annual company get-together for over 12,000 staff held in the NEC in Birmingham.  They required an application that had the ability to handle registration, ticketing, food, accommodation, maps and breakout event registration. In previous years, Travelodge had handled this via static sites but wished to make the experience richer and available on any form factor of the device, including mobile.

Netpremacy proposed a solution consisting of an App Engine backend, with a fully mobile-optimised front-end using the VueJS framework.  Netpremacy made use of Cloud Datastore for storing registration information and Firebase to push notifications on both the lead-up and during the event to attendees.  The scalability of App Engine allowed for the application to remain fast and responsive both on the lead-up to the event and during.

The benefits that Travelodge have seen:

Travelodge were able to successfully run an event based on the application and collect employee feedback and suggestions via the social media element.

The application will now be built upon and used for 2019.

IICSA - Westminster, London

IICSA - Westminster, London

IICSA had a manual process to ingest email and document data from G Suite into a secure evidence archival solution. This process was both time-consuming and error prone - something which was not suitable given the potential sensitivity of the data.

Netpremacy worked with IICSA to determine that this process could be automated, as both the source GSuite environment and the target archival solution had well documented API’s.  We proposed a solution built on AppEngine to periodically poll the source domain, collect data that met a defined set of criteria, transform this data type and post it into the target application.  We had to define extensive error reporting and post validation to ensure that this process was consistent, reliable and reportable.

The benefits that IICSA have seen:

The time to execute has been reduced from several hours per week to seconds and the automatic process has left no room for manual error.

Jellyfish - Worldwide

Jellyfish - Worldwide

Netpremacy worked with Jellyfish as an integral part of an Intranet redesign.  The Intranet was based on LumApps, but had a number of microservice applications which we scoped, designed and built to provide added functionality to their intranet.  These included:

Employee counters (pulled in real-time from the G Suite directory API, including country breakdown)

The benefits that Jellyfish have seen:

The social intranet is an essential area for Jellyfish to manage their current client relationships. It allows the company to store all client information which the client then accesses forming their very own client portal.

The application is a central location, where Jellyfish manage all content shared with staff members. The kind of information found on the social intranet would be employee handbooks, news, videos and blogs. This allows for seamless communication between staff members in a safe and monitored environment.
