Netpremacy provided a Business Analyst to fully understand the scope of requirements. Also, offering their development expertise to build a custom application with an interface to request licenses, automate calculations and output the quotes.

The Challenge

The process for ordering quotes for licenses was proving manual and timely which relied on the availability of the dedicated Account Manager before this can happen. The volume of quotes for a global organisation is constantly growing and had the potential to not only become unmanageable but also have an impact on business operations.

The Solution

The quotation application was built on App Engine Standard to take advantage of the running costs and scalability. A Datastore database was also used for the same cost optimisation and scalability reasons for managing the quotations. The app Uses Google authentication into the application, with in-app admin controls to manage users access.

The Results

As a result of the new application, the workflow is far more efficient and reduces the amount of manual effort required throughout the process of requesting quotations for new user licenses. It also offers administration directly within the application to assign individuals permissions to place requests.

“Netpremacy goes over and above to understand us as a customer and our requirements. They have spent time building a strong relationship with us as a customer and communicate well throughout everything they undertake. If we required either changes to be made or had general questions they are able to make time to discuss this and we look forward to future opportunities to work together.” – Alex Wheeler, Messaging and Collaboration lead, Rentokil Initial
