Sitting at the gateway to the network, NetPilot offers a number of subscription-based Unified Threat Management services, including Sophos anti-virus for email and web browsing, anti-spam, advanced firewall, IDS/IPS, Email policy controls and URL content filtering.

NetPilot Remote- Overview

Secure Internet and VPN Connectivity for small sized organisations and branch offices needing security and high-speed VPN connectivity.

The NetPilot Remote meets customer demand for a lower priced VPN/firewall solution in branch offices and is an ideal complement to more powerful NetPilot Plus or NetPilot Enterprise devices at head office. NetPilot Remote comes complete with all the VPN and security options necessary to get small businesses securely communicating across the Internet and it can be upgraded to support our email Unified Threat Management options, including anti-virus, anti-spam and email policy controls.

NetPilot Lite - Suitable for 15 users.

NetPilot Lite  features:

-         Sophos anti-virus for download scanning  detects and protects against viruses gained by web browsing

-    Anti-spyware (blocking malicious spyware getting onto your network, also stopping any spyware from communicating to the outside world)

-         High performance caching
Reduce bandwidth costs and increase employee productivity through faster web browsing.

-      Block pier to pier applications such as MS messenger and Yahoo messenger which can be a serious threat as spyware can communicate this way.

-         Checkmark Accredited firewall. Intrusion detection - Intrusion protection

-         Three levels of Spam protection
Spam cop (checking with a regularly upgraded database of known spammers) Spam assessment (checking the characteristics of an email to see if it is likely to be spam)                                                                                          Bayesian filtering (a self learning system, which teaches itself what is Spam (bad email) and what is Ham (good email)

-         VPN capabilities
NetPilot is also a Secure IPVPN device. We have clients ranging for 2 site organisations to 150 site organisations connecting this way. Security is taken care of by using secure IPSEC or CIPE security protocols. Data running over the VPN can also be prioritised. e.g. critical data takes priority over web browsing.

NetPilot can also act as an email server, which is ideal for smaller organisations that do not have the expertise to run costly licence based mail servers.

NetPilot Enterprise - Overview

NetPilot Enterprise offers all the 'all-in-one' abilities of NetPilot, but is aimed at those organisations who require more users, more power and more resilience. Two enclosure types are now available, in the original 1U format for mounting in a 19" cabinet and now the Enterprise is also available as a floor standing tower unit - for more see right-hand link.

NetPilot Enterprise is a slim line, rack-mountable Internet Appliance that provides secure, company-wide Internet access and email, together with sophisticated, yet simple to install VPNs. NetPilot Enterprise is ideal for medium to large-sized companies or applications requiring higher performance, resilience and capacity than the standard NetPilot and is suitable for up to 500 email users. This model comes complete with all Unified Threat Management (UTM) options, including anti-virus, anti-spam, email policy controls, URL content filtering, IDS/IPS and advanced firewall.
